When Wallboard and Insulation Supplies (WIS) was founded in 2014, there were very few options for plasterboard and insulation in the building sector in New Zealand. We spotted an opportunity to bring a greater variety to tradespeople and homeowners building and renovating.
We’ve always believed that choice in the marketplace is a good thing – good for the tradespeople who benefit from being able to provide options to clients, and good for the end-users who all have different wants and needs.

Our goal is to provide and install the best products available – for builders and their clients. If you’d like to visit our factory in Christchurch, please get in touch.

We import Knauf and USG products direct from the manufacturers because we’re committed to their product quality and what they stand for.

We stand behind the brands we supply because they provide healthier, more sustainable products while at the same time meeting all of the standard warmth and acoustic requirements of other brands in the market.
